Introducing Encore Re-Use
Encore Re-Use is a local charity and social
enterprise based in Ashbourne. As a furniture recycling and re-use
project, it provides furniture and other household items at a low
cost to people on low income in the Derbyshire Dales.
Encore Re-Use is a not-for-profit social
enterprise, which also provides training, employment and
volunteering opportunities for local
people that gives them the chance to develop work and social skills.
Encore Re-Use promotes and encourages re-use and
recycling and the reduction of household and other goods going to
landfill or unsightly fly tipping. Good quality furniture and other
items that add to the problem of waste will be used to help someone
else make a home.
